This page is where you can download files necessary for installation.  Instead of including these files with each program, it will not only save disk space, but it will save you time in downloading.  If you already have these files, then it will not be necessary to download them.

Use Find in Windows 95/98 to locate the files MFC42.DLL and MSVCRT.DLL.  These are usually located in your \windows\system directory.

To find the file version, right click on your file, then click properties.  When the dialog window appears, click the Version tab.

FYI: The following files are required when software is developed using  Microsoft Visual C++ 6.0, and MFC (Microsoft Foundation Class).

Most of the new software which is being released is currently being written using Visual Basic 6.0 Enterprise Edition, SP5. The VB run-time libraries are not included here. With some older programs, and most of our new programs we are releasing program file only zips, and full-setup zips. Just download the full-setup zip.

I don't like VB's included setup program, but it is sufficient...

Various Files vb.reg - If you DO NOT have VB Professional installed, then you may need to download vb.reg and run it. This will add a registry key if your getting the error ActiveX cannot create object when using either WebSniffer, CodeBook or NetworkClipboard.
